Fault simulation with intelligent current monitoring

With its new A66G and A67G assemblies, SMART Electronic Development extends its range of environmental simulation and test systems for MLBA4 engine control units.

Fault simulation for load outputs of the A67G control unit permits switching of 16 channels of load up to 10A max. The fault rail is equipped with intelligent current monitoring. The fault simulation assembly can be remotely controlled via CAN.

 

The A66G fault simulation assembly for injector connections permits switching of 8 channels of load, for example MV+ and MV- for 4 injectors. Mean continuous current is 16A, short-circuit resistance is 50A, and self-protection is 80A max.
